It's a question a lot of people have been asking but how do you make money online? Is there an easy way to achieve this? Where do I start? Yes, you can make money online but it doesn't mean you'll just sit down in front of the PC and do nothing.
One way you can earn money online is by being involve in the advertisement business. This is no different from TV or Radio. To attract sponsors and advertisers you need to have a fan base. It's a common thought that the larger audience you have, the larger the possible earning you will get from advertisement. That brings us to Internet Traffic.
Internet Traffic is the volume of people coming to or from a website or blog. There are two general categories of traffic: 1) Constant and 2) Transient.
Constant Traffic
If you have a forum for a particular hobby (e.g. Photography) most of the users will be Photography enthusiasts who will visit that forum often to discuss about their hobby. This is what is commonly known as a Niche. Friendster, Myspace and Facebook are websites that have constant traffic because its users always come back to update their profile, keep in touch with their friends and community.
Transient Traffic
Students who uses the internet to research on a particular subject for their homework through a search engine and lands to a particular website where they find the information they are seeking is an example of Transient Traffic. More often than not, it's either they will come back to that site sparingly or maybe never again.
Now that we have identified the types of traffic, on the next chapter I will relate the type of traffic to the type of blog or website and advertisement you need to maximize your chances to make money online.

How to Make Money Online Part 1: Traffic
Get Paid to Write Reviews!
Unlike Surveys and other forms of money making on the Internet; the vast majority of "paid to reiew" websites are legitimate, and there are very few. Ciao! is one of them. Here’s how the business model works: Members write the reviews which draw customers to the site from google. The customers read the reviews and decide to purchase the product and use Ciao!’s price comparison site to choose a store. Ciao! is then paid commission by the store and so Ciao! pays the users who write the reviews.
So how do you get paid? Well Ciao! has a rating system in place whereby other Ciao users can rate each others reviews. And for each ‘good, excellent or outstanding’ rating you are given; you earn either $0.5, $1 or $2 depending on how popular the product is. You can also double your earnings if you are the first user to write a review for the product. This encourages the users to review every product listed.
This clicking culture creates social circles called "circles of trust" whereby users are notified when one of their trustees posts a new review, so those who are trusted by many get a good minimum level of clicks every time they write.
There is also a monthly cash amount which is divided up every month and given arbitrarily to writers who have written exceptional reviews in the month. I was awarded $10 from this fund after I’d written about 20 reviews. To register for this great money making product just click here.
